Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding allocated to schools to support children eligible for free school meals.

Pupil Premium is a government initiative intended to help to ‘close the gap’ that exists for pupils from a poorer economic background. It was introduced in April 2011 and now covers all pupils who have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years.
