"The film 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' was a fantastic film!" Julian Kisselvits 10G

Wall Street film

On Wednesday, 13th October, 23 lucky Business Studies students had the opportunity to view a screening of the new Wall Street film. Sohaib Moussouni 10F writes:

"Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is an American drama set in New York City. The film takes place 23 years after the original and is based on the 2008 financial crisis. The film's plot mainly centres around the reformed Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) and follows his attempts to help Wall Street before the Stock Market crash."

Overall, we had a great afternoon and the film received some excellent reviews...

"I didn't really expect to like the movie because it was about business but I really liked it. It was interesting and I would never have gone to watch it in my spare time but am glad that I went to watch it with Miss Jaeggi." (Enith Rivas 10G)

"I like the whole film because it was interesting and lively. I have learnt all about business and the consequences of doing things that are illegal." (Hadjer Derrouiche 10G)
